Paul Renfro is an intriguing man.  First, at 6’9” tall he is impossible to ignore.  However, what is immediately evident to all who meet him is the fact that pastor Paul has the heart of a shepherd.  He has had a long, varied and fruitful ministry.  He traveled the world ministering with Athletes in Action before pastoring churches in Ohio and Texas.

A graduate of both UT Arlington and Southwestern Seminary, Paul is an experienced church planter who brought that invaluable experience to GFBC in its formative stages.  Moreover, his experience as a teacher and Classical School headmaster give him a unique perspective perfectly suited for a Family Integrated Church.  Paul gives leadership to GFBC’s discipleship ministry with a special emphasis on equipping men to be family shepherds.  He is also the director of the Alliance for Church and Family Reformation

FAMILY

Paul and his wife, Laurie have been married over 20 years.  They have had an incredible ministry to young couples, especially international students.  They have two sons, Josh and Daniel, and two daughters, Brianne and Jenna.  The Renfros are committed home educators.
